Week of Action and Awareness
Our Week of Action and Awareness is our signature event. Cities around the country organize and host free events with legal aid to expunge, clear or seal eligible criminal records, and offer access to social resources, and wrap around services that support re-entry.
The Week of Action and Awareness will align with our core values:
Sunday, 9/26
This is a day dedicated to offering holistic wellness education and activities to our community and ourselves.
Monday, 9/27
Our rest is a form of resistance and reparations. Take this day to recharge, regroup and restore before a week dedicated action.
Tuesday, 9/28
We align with communities, organizations, institutions, and industries that share our values. This day is dedicated to giving and pouring into our partners in alignment.
Wednesday, 9/29
We are the architects of our survival. This day is dedicated to our new realities through advocacy, programming, and storytelling.
Thursday, 9/30
This day is dedicated to education, professional development, communal resources, legal relief, and collaboration.
Friday, 10/1
This is a day of work with our aligned partners to reflect on those we uplift and support.
Saturday, 10/2
This day is a reclamation of our legacy through healing, repair, and growth.
Sunday, 10/3
This day convenes our communities in love and joy while recognizing our collective accountability to change-making.
